Solar Study w/o Shadows

I have a building file linked into a separate site file. The building is placed on the Toposurface with some adjacent buildings modeled in the site model. I have set up the site file to export Summer, Winter and Annual Solar Studies. When I Export the videos, the shadows of the site and adjacent buildings cast fine. However, the linked building file does not cast any shadows at all. I went back to the building file and exported a Solar Study from there and the building cast shadows just fine. So, I went back to the site file, selected the building, in the camera view, and clicked Hide in View. I ran the Solar Study and the hole, that the building sits in, cast shadows. Has anyone seen this issue before? Any ideas?
