I was able to find a few posts that addressed similar concepts, but nothing quite the same as this. What is the preferred method for creating roofs with compound slopes. Its easy when the roof edges are nice and clean, but we often get conditions with lots of varying roof edges. (as indicated in the attachement)
I've got two options.
1. Extend the size of roof so that you end up with a nice simple triangle. Modify subelements of the two corners to create the slope and then use the vertical opening command to cut the roof into the correct shape.
2. Create a mass and do a roof by face.
I don't see any viable solution using slope arrows. We've also tried plotting points (height) of each corner, but that is extremely tedious and usually results in ridges / valleys. Any other ideas?
EDIT.... hmmm nevermind. Seems slope arrow works OK.
