I'm not believing it. It is April 1st after all.
yeah, i'm glad i remembered it was april 1st before even reading the actual thread on this one, and the fact that i'd already read a lot about the 2012 updates and didn't see this.
I'm gonna keep sticking to my wishlist item on this one, which actually did quite well in votes not long ago. Truly looking forward to the day we can slope a wall without having to make a mass first!

Where is it? I think I saw it one day...then when I was looking for it again...couldn't find it.

clearly you didn't read the rest of the posts... it was an april fools joke. the only thing you can do for tilted walls in revit is a wall by face on a mass...

ahhhh...the problem with time sensitive posts! (and the inability to read all posts)... Thanks Rob. Maybe it was in a dream that I remember seeing the tilt wall command.
you may have seen it in ArchiCAD as well, they have the feature...
*dig back enough, and you'll find this on the wishlist item from non other then myself!*

Parts does work ok for a tilt wall tool. I prefer a generic model void family so I can make the shapes I want and dim to the center lines.

"Parts with offsets" ??? For a tilted wall?
Can you explain a bit further?

The term "Tilt Wall" to me means cheesy warehouse construction
http://www.tiltwall.com/
I would prefer it be called "angled", or to jive with the structural columns "slanted"
lets clarify (and hope people read everything on here)
1) this was an april fools joke
2) it was in reference to slanted/canted/tilted walls, not the tilt wall methodology of construction as per the previous link

Yep--Rob got it right.
1. It was indeed and April Fool's joke.
2. The name can be anything-- "Wall Angle Setting" or whatever. No relationship whatsoever
to "cheesy tilt-up" construction.
3. GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just tired of hearing you call it Tilt wall - Go Rangers! ;)

With parts you draw as many division lines in plan as you need. I put in a dividing line, then offset it the spacing. you want. IE if your panel spacing is 10', you offset the line every ten feet. Or you can use intersecting references. so if you place grids you can divide on the grids themselves.
But I like using the generic model better because I can create a shape to the void.

HUH? you're still talking about tilt-up panels i'm assuming?!? the original thread was about tilted/canted/slanted/angled walls.

Exactly!!!
How about "Wall Slant Tool"--as the other comment mentioned so it relates to Slanted Columns....
So--no luck with Parts making a Slanted Wall, thought maybe I was missing something.
GO CARDINALS!

Sorry, I think of Tilt Walls as tilted concrete panels, not sloped or slanted walls. Revit allready has tools for slanted walls and slanted columns so it wouldn't be an april fools joke to bring it up.

Scott,
Sorry--there is no Slant Wall Tool in Revit. There is a Slant Column Tool.
Making a Mass with a slanted face and converting it to a wall is not the same as having an angle adjustment in the Wall Properties, as is available in ArchiCad---thus my post and long-time Revit Wishlist item.
cheers
Cliff, i've wished that many times myself now.
wall by face vs slanting a wall using a tool for them or a parameter for walls is VASTLY different. Especially on large projects with repeating elements like ceilings with lighting coves that have slanted walls (happened a lot when working on casino work).
the ability to just tell a wall "15 degrees" and having to create a bunch of masses to do that would in deed make for a hell of an april fools...
