Mousing Off Properties Toolbar?

I am having real issue with the fact that moving the mouse off of the Properties toolbar is the same as clicking the Apply button. I move it off to the side, so that I can see the filed that i am typing into. Anyone else have issue with this behavior? Anyone else out there really like this bevaior?

i'm neither for it or against it, but i have just learned over time to move my mouse to the side of the screen instead of towards my drawing surface. It's a nice feature when you're moving along at a quick pace and don't need to double check your typing skills before applying
