Group Edit Panel GONE

Hey Guys!

I am trying to edit a group (I have modeled a hotel with groups for the differnet room types) Everyting worked great yesterday. But this morning the Group Edit Panel has disappeared.

Anyone know how to get the Group Edit Panel back?

Keyboard shortcuts!
FG = Finish Group
CG = Cancel Group

That'll get you out of your current Group, anyway.
Once you exit Revit & get back in again, the Panel should return.

Try going View, User Interface, then check the box by "Recent Files." For us it works anytime the "Group Edit" panel disappears. I can't explain why it works.

I'm not the original poster, but you guys are awesome. After struggling for 15 minutes trying to find that panel.

OK - have been having this happen more often than not. What happens when these don't work (ie Keyboard shortcuts). I'm stuck in "Jaundice-Land" and can't get out! :lol:

FYI: I had to resort to "Exit Revit" - it prompted me to Sync to Central, which failed (of course) because I was still within the group. I was told to 'Finish or Exit' the group.... and the menu promply came back onto the screen. D'oh.

Hey, Kyle.
One other weird trick that often works is to go to the View Tab, then User Interface.
Check and then Uncheck (or vice versa) the Recent Files option.
I saw a Tip somewhere else that says that restores your Group Panel.

The problem seems to be caused when you change windows to a Family while in Group Edit mode.
