Is there a way to import excel data (wall finishes) into shared room finish parameters? Tthe rooms are already placed in revit, and we have a complete finish schedule in excel since the project is in CAD :/
I want to be able to create room tags that show the shared parameter data (i.e. South Wall: PL-1)
If there's a way to automate this, you will be saving me so much work! Thank you!

If you want something from Autodesk, check out the RDBLink program. It can export to a database & you can edit from there. Probably requires some SQL expertise, though. Otherwise, check out BIMLink from Ideate:

or Revit Excel Link from CTC:

Try this: http://bim.nichitecture.com/copyexcel.html
It has been around for quite some time now.
As an alternative to Nicholas, there is also another utility from Medina: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=97224&page=8
