Multiple details in one view

I just inherited a project where all the details are drawn in one drafting view. They all fit into an A1 sheet, however, we prefer to have each detail on an individual A3 sheet. Does it mean I'll have to separate them out into a drafting view each? Thanks.

yes, a good way to do it would be to duplicate with detailing then remove what you dont need in each new one.

You can only drop each drafting view onto 1 sheet, so even if you could display only part of the view you wouldnt be able to drop another part of the view onto another sheet.

I was hoping that the same drafting view could be dropped into different A3 sheets & somehow manipulate the viewports to a different detail.

Since you will need to reference each details individually they can't be on the same view.
