I need to rotate part of my project to align with existing street orientations. The building is on a corner with a diagonally oriented street, so the angle is obtuse, more obtuse than I realized, and I need to bump out the angle of the north wall. That part I can manage. The part I need help with is shifting a set of internal rooms (actually the building core) and rotating them.
This looks like a do-over, am I right?
under the Manage tab you'll find the "Position" tool, there's a drop down to that
In there is the Rotate True North and Rotate Project North.
Those will allow you to do what you need hopefully...

This seems to rotate the entire project. Can I "deselect" part of the project to exclude it from the rotation?

try selecting what you need to in a 3D view and then rotate the specific parts you need.to.
the further along in a project you are the messier it will be, hope you're not too far along.. :)

Group everything you need to rotate, then use the rotate command and move the origin of the rotation to the point you want to rotate around.

These are good suggestions. Thank you everyone. I think I am too far along. I wish I had created a group of the internal structure (a restaurant) as I was building it (could I have done that?) I don't think it would be a time-saver at this point to go back and select each component and make a group. There's just too much. (Stairs, furniture, feature wall, lighting not to mention all the walls, ceilings, different levels.) So now I am moving each component in smaller groups and rotating as I need to.

You're probably going to be in a world of hurt for your Elevations and Sections, too.
Those won't Rotate along with the Model Elements.
If you are Rotating a know angle, you might be able to Rotate and type in the angle (use lots of decimal places).
If you can't get the exact angle, and it's too difficult to recreate your Interior Elevations, this tip:

may help you line them up again.
