I have a CMU wall with 7/8" cement plaster on the exterior face. I incorporated a reveal into the type, to cut 2" out of the bottom for the depth of 7/8" but in elevation I still see the hatch pattern for the plaster, not the CMU. Even if I cit it 1" deep, it's still the same. Is there a way to fix this as a function of the type instead of having to paint all the faces?
