I hope that someone is indeed checking this forum and is actually reading and taking some notes.

Today I am asking for some new features to be incorpated in Robot

1.Full design procedures according to EC8 for beams, columns, bracings out of concrete, steel and wood. That includes capacity design procedures

2.Steel-concrete composite structures according to EC4

3.Prestressed structures.Use of tendons for both beams and plates. All checks should be made inside the program (forget ESOP etc)

4.There are still problems with foundations according to EC7.

5.Checking custom made thin walled sections and members according to EN1993-1-3

7.Bridge regulations-norms i.e. DIN Fachbericht and Eurocodes 2,3,4 Part 2

8.Piles out of concrete

9.Better use of memory and multicore processors.Design procedures are often slow!Really slow!

10.Material nonlinearities

11.Design of arbitrary concrete cross sections

These were just a few. Please make Robot better...

To all Robot users:Feel free to add more features to my list

i strongly agree with dratsiox.

also, don't you think there in autodesk that it's time for writing a serious engineering manual for it?

12. Wall design according to eurocodes 2 and 8

I agree with the wish list. I particularly miss concrete steel composite structures. And I also think that it would be worth to publish an updated and engeneeringly speaking deeper manual or tutorials.

Although, we don't have a wishlist forum for RSA at the moment, we are working on a new wishlist system that should include all products. Keep an eye out for it and then submit these wishes to the new system.

1- Staged construction
2- Serious Bridge module
3- Time dependent material properties( creep, shrinkage ,etc)

+ dynamic relaxation solver for form finding and large displacement analysis
+ non linear staged construction analysis

I totally agree with these.
Especially
1.Full design procedures according to EC8 for beams, columns, bracings out of concrete, steel and wood. That includes capacity design procedures
2.Steel-concrete composite structures according to EC4
3.Prestressed structures.Use of tendons for both beams and plates. All checks should be made inside the program (forget ESOP etc)
4.There are still problems with foundations according to EC7.
5.Checking custom made thin walled sections and members according to EN1993-1-3
9.Better use of memory and multicore processors.Design procedures are often slow!Really slow!

But Autodesk haven't really develop Robot since Robobat.
And their target is the American Market. For example they have made some excel sheets for composite structures only for the American Regulations and they have joined them to Revit !!!

The only entry in my wishlist is "May Autodesk actually implement other wishlists". Which is obviously futile.
They are too busy BIMwashing people.
