Just wondering if anyone has had experience with 12da files and being able to import into Revit?

Cheers

356 views without a response I am guessing this is a no and am filing it in the too hard basket.

According to

http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/formats.asp?fmtin=51&fmtout=28

.12da files can be opened in 3ds Max (Civil View) - so you can convert them to Revit via 3ds Max

I think 355 of those views were looking to see what a .12da file was!

Here is a video on how to export from 12d to IFC. It can also export to DWG format, but it appears it is all done with triangles, rather than topographic lines, and so as an IFC, you might be better off? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIJM-SW1VtA

Update: Not sure having triangles rather than topographic lines is actually a problem. Revit imported it just fine in my test. For no reason I assumed one would be better than the other.
