keep walls from joining

I have split walls and I want them to display that way. When I move them close together, that rejoin. How can I keep this from happening. Thanks.

While they're close together, but not joined, use the wall join tool to select the two ends, and then check the disallow join radio button above.

Then you can drag the ends together.

or draw one wall & use the split with gap tool.

You can also right click on the wall end grip and select Disallow Join
