MEP V/G filter color overides wrong color coming in.

I am wondering why my receptacles in one family are coming in blue while another family of receptacles are coming in the assigned color of green in my Filters of the Project Template. The filter in the project template is set to green solid line. The "Blue" recept family has the same color of the lights family. The lights filter overrides was set just minutes before the receptacle filter overrides. Just coincidence, I am thinking. Both receptacle families are under the same category of Electrical Fixtures. Any Idea/suggestions why this is happening? I am using Revit MEP 2011

It can be any number of reasons as to why.
How are you filtering your receptacles?
Are there any discrepancies in the names?
Overrides?
Sub category in the family?
Material?
Model category color (if filter isn't working for that family)
These problems are difficult for us to help you with since there are 500,000 ways to filter.
