Am I going crazy, or what???? I could have sworn that I read somewhere that the new RAC 2012 has a new feature for creating corner windows without a lot of crazy work arounds.... Did I dream that or what? I have looked in the new Help files and can find nothing about it.... Can someone please end my agony and tell me if I was dreaming or if it is really there and I just cannot find it...

Thanks

It's all a dream!!! Nothing ever works as advertised!!! It's all just a dream. Now go back to sleep.

Seriously though I haven't seen anything that even throws a hint at what you want.

That appears to be a new feature for AutoCAD Architecture 2012, not Revit:

I have successfully created corner windows in Revit, but it's a workaround adjusting the opening in the window family to extend beyond the geometry for the frame, trim, etc., and you have to place each side separately, as a single window family can't cut openings in 2 walls simultaneously. In this design, an infill clad panel is placed separately to fill in the corner, but you could create one that brings the glass to the corner.

NOTE: I built this family in a 2009 template, and I've found that the 2010 template did NOT allow me to extend the opening beyond the trim. I'm sure it's to keep people from 'breaking' it, but it's a problem when you need these workarounds.

There is one in the RAC Revit 2012 window family set.

You sure about that?

They might be getting it confused with AutoCAD Architecture? That was the "big" new feature in that software this year... corner Windows. It's a rare architectural item from that program I wish was available in Revit.

OK! I'm switching! Goodbye Revit!
