View Full Version : 2012 - Tagging in 3d?

If I am understanding this, in 2012 we should be able to tag and keynote in a 3d view as long as we have locked the view. I have created a 3d view, locked it and cannot tag or keynote anything. All of my annotations are grayed out.
Anybody know what I might be missing here or not seeing?

Are you trying to use the default 3D view? For some reason it does not like this view. Duplicate the 3D view and rename it without the brackets, then lock the orientation and give it another go around. It should work.

No, I am not trying to use the default 3d view. Anybody tried this yet? The Autodesk WikiHELP is not much help, BTW. Very milk-toast.

I don't believe you can Tag in a Perspective View.

Yes. Thanks for mentioning that! I just assumed they were using isometric. Good call!
