Anyone have experience getting 3D information from a pre-engineered metal building manufacturer into Revit? Looks like Varco Pruden uses their own proprietary software called vpcommand. From printed views, it appears that the bents (frames) are all 3D modeled, but the initial output I received is just a 2D plan. I'm not interested in structural info, just want to have the bents for clearance/clash detection efforts.

Thanks for any pointers.

For those dealing with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings:

Ended up getting an IFC file from them - had to open it in AutoCAD Architecture to get the geometry to show up correctly, then export it to ACAD w/ proxygraphics turned on. Linked into Revit just fine.
