Since installing Autocad 2012, I can no longer edit block attributes through the properties box. This means I have to use either double click edit or attribute editor, which are both neat tools but are more painful to call up and use when I just want to edit one or two attributes.
If anyone knows of a way to get block attributes to show up in the properties box again it would be much appreciated.
..and I know this is an Autocad 2011 forum, but it's the closest thing to an appropriate place to put this..

In witch version of AutoCAD was created this block?
In the meantime :), you can use ATTIPEDIT command and select the attribute that you want to edit.

I am not experiencing this in 2012, have you tried a repair installation? Are you using Vanilla 2012?

I'm not experiencing the problem either. When you double click on the block/attribute do you get the Attribute Editor dialog box?

I'm using C3D 2012. The blocks I'm editing were created in previous versions of autocad, but I doubt that that could create an issue such as this. I have not tried a repair install but I'm about to try that right now, as this is not the only issue I'm having with migrating to 2012.
It's not an issue for me to edit blocks using other commands, it's just the properties box.

I have found the best answer for me was opening the CUI and editing the attedit double click . I replaced the existing double click command with ^P_.QUICKPROPERTIES
this brings up the dialog box to edit the properties of the block.
