I understand there are better programs to render with than Revit. But, it's easy in Revit and so convenient to modify the model and change views. I came up with a pretty good interior rendering. Looks great on the screen but much darker when printed. I guess wysiwyg does not apply to printing. Any tips for printing renderings?

1. I wouldn't print from Revit. Ever. Make a .pdf or export a .jpg and then print, you'll get more consistent results.

2. Try different printers (if you can).

Beyond that, it's pretty much trial and error. Print, tweak, print, tweak, repeat ad nauseum...

I did export to .jpg before printing. You are right about one thing. I will take trial and error. I guess that is the most time consuming factor in trying to produce something that is usable and that you want to show to your client.

Use Photoshop or (the Gimp) to adjust your images color, hue, levels etc...

Ok. I have Gimp and perhaps I should schedule time to learn it.
