MText Editor - Scroll Bar?

AutoCAD 2010: Is there a way to have a vertical scroll bar in the MText editor? Previous versions had one and it is handy to use when going from top to bottom. The mouse scroll wheel also used to move the text up and down, but now it only makes the whole editor box larger or smaller.

I use my scroll button to pan around. I hold it down like a regular pan.

I do the same, but it is rather annoying to do this with a large text body, and the screen jumps all over the place.
