Delete or purge browser - views?

Couldn't see anything on this from searchs. Trying to bring an old project upto current standards by purging and transfering new standards. However, the browser organisation remains with no apparent way of deleting the old types. Any ideas?

I could be wrong, but I believe browser view sorting types can't be purged. The only thing I can think of would be to make sure that the one you're trying to purge isn't set to active in the project browser, and then purge. Otherwise, I think you're out of luck, though I'd love to be proven wrong.

You can delete unused browser organization types from the User Interface command on the View tab of the ribbon.
