Hi everyone
I keep getting a crash trying to create breaklines from proximity by polylines. I think I have isolated the area that is the problem (this drawing is very large, about 8000 topo shots) but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I keep getting an 'Unhandled exception C0000005'' error. The drawing itself doesn't crash, it just locks the surface and does not let me edit it, even if I delete the lock file, it just creates a new lock file immediately.

I was wondering if anyone has come accross this error and if it has something to do with the polylines that I'm choosing.

I'm running LDC 2009 on a brand new amd phenom quad core system with 8 gigs of ram so I don't think that its the computer not being able to handle anything.

Here is a screen cap of the error message.

Here is a screen cap of some of the polylines that I think are the problem.

Hopefully this helps

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Errrrr... Fixed

Apparently there was a bunch of old style heavy polylines with zero line length that was causing all the problems.

Hope this helps somebody in the future.

You have a lot more computer than Land can use. It can only use 2 gigs of ram.
