Wall Opening Tool Unavailable?

Hi all - does anyone know why the wall opening tool would be greyed out only for straight walls? I can place void openings fine on my curved walls.

Same reason you cannot edit the profile of a curved wall.....we just don't have that functionality....

The wall opening tool should be working for both straight walls and curved walls. In fact the opening tool was specifically created because curved walls can't have their profiles edited.

Somehting is weird if you are not able to place an opening in either a straight wall or a curved wall. Something else must be going on?
