parapet flashing....

i made a sweep in my wall for the flashing at the top of the wall....i'm getting the warning that it is outside the wall (which it is- i have roof for blocking underneath) and although it previews in the section view withing the edit box it does not show up in the model.

If you need a sweep associated to a wall but not "on" the wall, you will have to edit the profile used in the sweep so that the intersection of the ref planes (origin of the sweep profile) falls onto the wall. So for instance if you wanted to show a draine pipe around the foundation footer, you would edit the pipe profile being used and move the profile lines to the right and down from the intersection of the ref planes at the distance you want from the bottom edge of your wall.
