Hi all,
I run Revit 2012 on my Mac PowerBook 17 on Bootcamp with Win7x64. When I ran Revit 2011 my machine ran Revit straight away. Now that I have upgraded to 2012, I get a "software emulation" mode as my graphics card is not a "compatible" hardware item (and it is not upgradeable to the boest of my knowledge....unless anyone has additional "super-knowledge" in this area!).
My graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. Is there anything I can do to get around the emulation mode as I am sure it probably slows things down, though I have yet to render anything lately.
I am a bit disappointed that my very capable laptop now has a graphics card that is considered "old" by Revit 2012 and would like to be able to get as much longevity out of this machine while maintaining the best performance I can.
Any help is always appreciated:)
