Wall opening

I searched wall opening in the forums and came up with nothing. I am wondering why after I place a rectangular wall opening, the length grip arrows are not available. Sometimes they are and sometimes not. Suggestions?

Bump. Any answers to this one guys?

Select the wall, not the opening. Then click the "Disallow Join" glyphs, this will allow you to change the opening length.
