All,
I am trying to create options for a core configuration. I duplicated the model groups which make up my floor plan, and begun building the two options, the existing core layout, and the new option.
The structural beams also needs to change in function of the option,and therefore I tried to copy it accross the two options. That is not possible, since I get the following:
"No element in a secondary Option can be referenced by an element outside that Option."
I thought that the columns would cause this, therefore I copied them as well into the options (which I don't like because they span vertically the entire building). I am still getting that error, because it appears there are some walls which are also "referencing" the beams. So I stopped, and give up on the beams...
How do you stop Revit from "referencing" things accross options?
Better yet, how come there is no "Ignore references and continue doing what I asked you to do" button in that error dialog box?
