Electric outlet will not host to a wall

Anybody know why an electric outlet will not host to an exterior wall? I have been able to make them host to every wall in my project with the exception of 2 west walls in my model...very puzzling. I have tinkered with the heights to no avail (as I am working on an electrical plan in reflected ceiling plan). Any help on this issue is appreciated.

When I have trouble with a family I bring up a 3D view and try to place it in that view. If that fails then there may be something wrong with your model. If it is one of the newer MEP families that is face based then you could always add a plane and place it onto that plane.
