Bizarre view - looks like room tag mode

When opening one of my views all the rooms had the blue transparent "X" through them as though I were taggings them, but I was not in that mode.

I have attached an image of what I am talking about. Does anyone know what this is and how I can make this go away?

Someone turned on the room subcategories Reference and interior fill. Just uncheck them.

Does anyone happen to know what the Room: Color Fill, Interior Fill, and Reference are used for?
Does the Color Fill correspond to the Color Scheme?

Yes, color fill is for the colored floor plans. the other two reveal the actual room object graphically so you can see where you have problems.
