I have a few files that never seem to stay in the correct units. They should be in meters, but after I edit a block the units jump back to Inches. What is going on and how do I fix it? It's driving me crazy (and messing up some of my blocks).

What 'units' are you referring to? Are you talking about the value of INSUNITS?

Well, I posted this earlier (sorry for the redundancy, thought it was on another forum and didn't have notifications on). The units I'm referring to is by using the UNITS command. INSUNITS = 6, metric.

In my previous post (thank you to the two who responded), suggestions included starting with a metric template--I am--and checking the MEASUREMENT and MEASUREINIT system variables--both are set to metric.

To clarify: My drawing is in metric and meters. My blocks are created in meters. When I edit the block, I am suddenly in inches and when I exit the blockeditor, I am in inches.

I have a feeling that you have an add-on routine which is forcing the unit setting to imperial.
If so, remove all the add-on in your PC & see if it solves your problem.
You can also perform an immediate check once exit the blockeditor & see if the units is set back to imperial mode.
