In our template we have a Schedule Key for the IBC occupancy classifications (e.g. assembly concentrated, business areas, exercise rooms, etc). This key shows up as an Identity Data parameter in each room with the name "Room Occupancy".

The issue now is that there is another OOTB parameter for rooms called simply "Occupancy" which we normally don't use. However I would like a room tag to show the Occupancy field that is also shown in our Life Safety room schedule. Would that be possible with the OOTB Occupancy field, or with another shared parameter perhaps?

I guess the question is - if I have a schedule key parameter that is used to populate a schedule, is there a way to get that same key to show up in a room tag?

Has anyone ever done anything like this before?

Should be possible.

If you open a room tag in the family editor, and add (or modify an existing) a label, you'll see the parameters associated with rooms, including any added shared parameters, are available.
