Did they do an invisible "update" reciently?

seriously I have lost track on how many times it has crashed in the last 2 days.

one morning I stopped counting at 12 times in 3 hours.

I feel lucky only having 10 crashes so far today.

recover/audit of course shows no errors. no rhyme or reason.
happens sometimes when I
close a drawing
use Text
multi-leaders
moving an object
block editing
using a viewport

i can go on.

everything was fine 3 or 4 days ago - same drawings I'm working on...

I think I figured it out.

Autocad 2012 does not like anything but 2d wireframe on sheet sets.

I have been using 3d Hidden for my viewports for IFC Drawings since the drawings are all 3d it
makes it very easy to read and people really like them.

Trying to open a viewport when it is not 2d wireframe is hit or miss with crashes.

has anyone else seen this?

I've had that happen once or twice, but don't deal with 3D frequently so I can't say it's a common occurrence.
