Reference Other View - Looks like an issue

We've been able to reproduce an issue when we place a section and use the feature, "Reference Other View". You can select which section type you want to use first before you check the box for ROV and it looks like you succeeded but as soon as the command finishes you are left with a section that Revit "picks". No way to change it to the one you want.

We are waiting for confirmation from Revit Support.

If someone thinks of a workaround please post!

Thought we'd try rolling back to an earlier build with no luck. Earlier builds are afflicted as well and they are:

Wouldn't it use the refering drawings section type by default?

Yep - that's what it does as I would expect it to.

Change the parent view and the symbol for the refering view will chagen the symbol of the refeing view...

Look a little longer at it Aaron...try it in 6.1 and then 7.0. You'll quickly see the subtle difference. Try adding or removing SIM OPP or such to a section type and get that to work with your reference view.

Sim and Opp Hand is an issue... Otherwise I like the way it works in 7.0, since we don't use opp. hand - no problem for us. ;-)

The real issue is you can create different types for the different section categories but you can't USE them.
