Can someone point me to a tutorial or have steps of how to create 3D views of each floor I have in a model. This way I can get a birds eye view of what walls are going to deck and which are not... I have tried duplicating the "typical" 3D view and then applying a section box, but there seems that there has to be a better way.

Make a New 3D View, then using the Steering Wheel, Right Click on it (The Steering Wheel) choose Orientate to View & then choose which ever floor plan you want. It will then Section Box the View to the same Chrop & View Range that the Floor Plan you chose has

Great. That is as easy as I had hoped. Now it creates a follow up question: Am I assuming right that Revit is creating all the Oriented Views that are listed?

The reason I ask, I am working in a model that was provided by the architect. So this may be more evident if I was creating the model myself.

Thanks again d.stairmand!

heh I forgot about this method. However, if you have your view range of each view set to the Associated Level with 0 offset for the bottom, and the Level Above at 0 for the top, would that not make your 3D view shows the level's walls, with no floor, but with the floor above?
