Circular Shaped can not be dimensioned in building section

I have a circular foundation and a circular wall

when developing a section in a plan, then opening the section view, you can not dimension the "Diameter" of the foundation by reference the two edges

also when modeling a circular column the same happens


any contribution is highly appreciated

It's crude, but you can draw model lines or symoblic lines in the section view at the two points you want to dimension to.
