Cannot Create New local

Does any body know why i can not create a new local file from a central file ?

From my little experience, when the "Create new Local File" check box is greyed out, it's usually because the file moved locations or something.
To fix the problem, I open the central file, do as "Save As" - "Project" and when the dialog box pops up, there's an options button at the bottom. Pick the options button and select the check box for "Make this a central file after the save". Save it, close it and when you go to open again, the check box for "Create new Local" should be available.

Or it's because you don't have any worksets set up yet. Until you enable worksets, there's no need (ie no option) to create a local.

Are you sure its a central file? That would be the first thing to check, the file name be NAMED that, but it doesnt mean it actually is a central file
