Multicategory schedules

Hi every one, I need to make a door and windows schedule. My first idea was to make it by a multicategory schedule, but the parameters of width and height are shared parameters and do not read these dimensions from my families. Could any one tell me the best practice to make that schedule , please?

Why does it have to be combined into a single schedule? Most firms I know of show separate door and window schedules.

The problem is that they schedule openings to calculate wind pressure and they need both elements in the same schedule.
