I have a problem when using PDF writer,
I am trying to print plans on a page to PDF, when i go to print the page to PDF using the PDF writer (downloaded from autodesk site) I seem to get a 15mm blank margin around the page edge (effectively blocking any boarder and title block).

Does the preview image look correct?

Hi there,
I am a bit confused. When you say that you downloaded it from Autodesk, are you refering to a PDF writer other than the one which is already included in Revit (Pinebrush)?
If so, have you tried the one in Revit? I have been using it from the beginning and have had very few problems, other than trying to print shaded views with underlays.
Good Luck
Steve

It is the PDF writer 4.2 (Pinebrush). When I try printing an A3 drawing on an A2 sheet all the A3 image appears. Itsonly when I print a PDF A3 drawing to an A3 paper size that the border area around the sheet is blanked out

A3 PDF has been an issue for us since day one. We routinely use a custom sheet setting and enter the same dimensions as a standard A3 sheet and it then works properly. It's a pain.

I've had the same problems with A3 and A4 - a bit like excessively wide printer margins. I've also overidden it with custom paper size as Beegee suggeests. A bit annoying and time wasting really but more or less does the job. :?

Hi there 65401

To print to A3 size you must use custom page settings, I also found you have to apply actual sheet width to height box, and actual height to width box.....................then it works a treat! (you would think someone might have addressed that wouldnt you?)
