Xref in linked CAD file

How do I control the Xref's in a linked CAD file. Even though they are unloaded in the CAD drawing, they are coming through in the Revit model. Thanks.

Is the CAD file and all the Xrefs all in the same location relative to each other when you link the CAD file in? If so, maybe try saving/moving/copying the CAD file to a different folder. If that doesn't work then I guess it could be caching the xref visibility. You can always turn off the Xref layers in a view under V/G > Import Categories and there should be some differentiation between the layer structure of the parent CAD file and each Xref file.

Otherwise you could just remove the Xrefs completely and save it as a new file for your linking purposes.
