Dear all,

I want my floor should be plastered from bottom. but when I assign one finsh layer in the bottom of layer and join geometry, the beam on which floor is supported, does nt cut the overlapping finish material( plaster) . Pls check the image.

I am using Revit Architecture 2012.
Any solution Guys.

You may try raising the beam equivalent to the thickness of plaster and then joining

Is the plaster inside the core boundary or outside? try moving it to the outside and make sure its set to finish not struct.

Look in your help :> "Applying a Function to a Layer of a Compound Structure"

That section has some images that will help you understand the layer cleanup rules.
