Revit printing on incorrect paper size

With Revit 2011, in the printer settings dialog, the page size is set to A3, and in the print dialog, selecting printer properties shows the printer is set to use paper from the A3 tray.

Yet when we print, it prints onto A4.

Why is this happening? Thanks

Make sure in your printer properties that the "A3" size is actually set to A3 dimensions.

The problem resolved itself the next day, perhaps because the printer was powered off overnight.
