Move View to a different sheet

Is there any (simple) way to move a View from one sheet to another?
I've got a bunch of Views set up on one sheet that I now need to move to a different sheet.
Since I've got them all layed out the way I want them, I'd rather not delete them from one sheet and re-create on the other.
I thought I could just drag them, but you can't do that across windows.
Then, I thought, maybe I could cut & paste. However, Revit tells me
Multiple instances of the same view in sheets not supported.
Well, yeah, but I'm CUTTING, not copying.

Are you moving to a new sheet that's empty? Just rename-renumber the sheet? That's too easy right? Can't be what you mean...

You want to move several views to another sheet with other views on it already? Right now you need to delete them and place them as you suspected. If they are really setup up, you should only have to position them as opposed to cropping etc.

If just re-creating the views is the issue the views will retain the crop regions and settings when placed on a new sheet. If they are at the same scale they will 'snap' to alignment base on common grids, levels etc. to speed up placement.

If you want to re-create the layout (view location, spacing etc) and more of the views are going to be moved to the new sheet, then just delete the views you don't need and rename the sheet. Then place the other views on a new sheet.

If you expand the Sheet headings in the Project Browser, you can drag views between sheets. When you place it in the new sheet, that sheet view will open and you can place the view in the desired location.

Yes, I was actually going to move them to a new, empty sheet and I did end up just renaming as you suggested.
I thought of that half-way through my post, but then I figured it was a good academic question, anyway. I can see the issue coming up again in the future. You set up a sheet all nice & pretty, and then the PA decides those wold look better on the next sheet.

Seems like Cut (as opposed to Copy) and Paste would be simple, but I suppose Windows throws up some sort of a roadblock so the factory can't make it happen.

sorry...maybe i should have just said "drag and drop is enabled within the Project Browser". No deleting and reinserting (or cutting and pasting) is necessary.
