Railing fiting floor with modified sub elements

Hi.
fresh fish in revit and foruns.
Does anybody knows what can I do to make this railing to fit this floor (attached file).
I didn't make this family, I found it ready, and have no idea of how to make or edit families.

pick flat rail and change setting to horizontal
Rails are system families like walls, roofs and floors

Sorry, works with floors, don't know about modified sub elements. Does the floor need to be made with modified sub elements? example attached

Mcantwell, thank you a lot, I just saw it today and it helped much!!!
It didn't work, though, for modified sub elements, but I made two floors then, and it was just like hand drawing!
I'll remember to check the "instant email notification" for next posts, sorry.
