Hi,

I think Revit Architecture 2012 has a bug when you try to draw a void in a solid. Revit Architecture 2012 doesn't make a "hole" at the place where the void is. The void has also an orange color.

I'm in a conceptual mass.
see attachment.

Someone else with the same problems? Or am I doing something wrong?

From the ribbon pick modify - geometry - cut. First pick the object to be cut. Second pick the object to cut with. No bug.

Hi, when I did that before, he said: cant join geometry, or something. So i said unjoin them, but it didnt work...

Isn't it normal to cut automaticly when you draw a void in a solid?? I mean, I thought that it should have to work perfect without that cut command...

Make sure that the void "cutter" to be removed from the solid is dimensionally bigger in all directions than the other solid. When doing that, I had no problem. Not sure if that is your problem though. Yes it would be good if it would be cut out automaticaly but hey, there are other things I would prefer being fixed in revit before that one.
