1. some how the symbolic line for the roof hatch swing does not show on my plans. I checked the visability and everything is on under specialty equipment. oh, I just tested, I think it is because the roof is not flat. what is the best way to work around?
2. I need to show some wall as potential walls for future tenant. So they need to be dashed. Now I defined them as "temporary phase" so they are demolished in the same phase which is not right. what is the correct way to do it?

For the roof hatch, edit the family and place dashed model lines on the top face of the hatch. Those will be visible no matter what the angle of the hatch is in the view.

We also use "temporary" construction to show future, and you are correct that it's not really the right way to do it but it gets the job done. I would probably still do it that way, and if you think you may be coming back to this Revit model when those elements are ready to be built, you could just copy/paste them into the next phase.
