I want to copy/paste multiple objects (ie a whole building) from one revit drawing to another, and place multiple copies of the building onto a site. However, having imported them I then wish to change each of the buildings to have an individual appearance, and for this reason I cannot just import the whole drawing as a reference object.

Does anyone know how I can do this? or can they tell me if there is a function to explode or remove the cross reference so individaul editing of each block is possible without them all changing...

PLEASE HELP!!

Never tried it, but maybel this'll work.

In your original building model, for each individual appearence use phasing.

Import the model into your site.
Copy & arrange the model copies on your site as you choose.
Select each copied model & change it's phase to match the look you want.
