Recombine schedule columns on sheet

So I know how to split a column if it is too long, but I can't seem to figure out how to recombine the columns! It must be something simple that I'm missing. Help please!

Just drag one of the split areas onto the other and they will recombine.

Thanks! I knew it was super simple. And in fact I tried that... it worked once and then didn't work again in the same way. A little more experimentation with your comment and I figured out what I was doing wrong. Thank you.
