Beam system and worksets

I'm having some trouble with beam systems and worksets. is short, you cannot assign the 'system' to a work set, only the individual beams or joists. And even them, that act funny with filters. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

tab thru until you can select the dotted line that represents the system. dont select the beams and the "system" at the same time. also make sure the workset is editable by you.
