Anyone,

I recently created a wall with a rather large sweep in the middle. This sweep was intended to be a bump out for a window. This worked out great however I am having trouble putting the window flush with the outside of the sweep. Is there a better way of doing this?

Please help I am quickly losing hair. :?

Thx,
Spectacles

The way I'd do it is to modify the window family geometry in the family editor to be able to offset from the wall host. That way you can keep the opening in the wall too.

You could also create the flat plane part of your bumped-out area as a wall, which will then host your window. It's good to think through the functional and constructional properties of Revit's objects prior to picking out which tool to use to create something.
You could also create that entire bumped-out area by modeling an In Place Component of type Wall, which will also host a window.

I went ahead and used a stack wall to create the bumpout for the window which in turn made the flat edge of the bumpout part of the wall and hence accomplished what I was hoping to do. Thank you, Mike.
