Question about a family that we created

I am using a family to show rigid insulation as per our standards. I make a repeating detail using the attached file, but when I try to have a tansparent filled region over top to show existing construction in a detail view, I cant send the component to the back as you can see in the screen capture.

Any advice on what would be causing the issue?

It looks like you have set the model to display as half-tone. I don't think you can send detail components to the back of the model.

yeah the model is halftoned, but that shouldn't be the reason.
I'm trying to send the detail component behind a filled region

Try bringing the filled region to the front or foward instead of sending the detail component to the back. Sometimes I have to do that and it works.

Check your detail component and make sure the "Shared" checkbox is blank under the "Family Category and Parameters" dialog box. This has been known to cause this issue.
