Section Head line not attaching

I made my own section head, not that dissimilar from the "out-of-the-box" one, but the section line is not attaching to my section head circle, see attachments. How can I fix this?

I just noticed you didn't get any help on this...

There's not much difference between your symbol and the OOTB version. Try again by modifying the standard section head. "Save As" with a different name. Less headaches that way
